Some practice making a setting and texturing it. I still don't love the lighting. I have been spending most of my time studying C#.

Figured out the basics of animating, UV unwrapping, and texturing. I like both of these characters but would like to make a much better setting for the next one. I still do not know how to properly light a scene so I want to work on that too. This is the day I started learning how to program with C#, so hopefully I can put these guys in a game world soon.
Messed with the rendering to make it look even older. Over the past few days I have been trying to animate. I learned a lot as I failed. In this modeling practice I sculpted on top of a reference to capture the animal forms. I want to work on improving my textures for the next one.
Tried to make this one look old by messing with the rendering. Applying textures was tough at first but I figured it out. I tried to make a fireplace to light the scene but couldn't get it right.
I followed a series of tutorials on YouTube to create this scene. The modeling wasn't too bad but the lighting was very tricky. I will probably be following tutorials for a couple of weeks because I do not yet know what is possible in this program.
For years I have wanted to make games with 3d graphics, so I will start by learning Blender. I also want to be able to create characters and environments that I could stick into music videos or drawings. I took an Intro to 3D Modeling class a couple of years ago but the teacher would say, “Okay everyone, open Blender,” and then five students would say, “SLOW DOWN!” so I did not learn much.
